Here's just a small sampling of some of the projects we've worked on over the years.

Currently at the Shop: New build replica of 1160CE Viking boat “Gislinge”

We are building her almost exclusively with broad axe and hand tools. White oak structure and planking, we are hand forging the rivets in copper rather than the archeological find which utilized bog iron.

1917 Charles Mower designed 31' runabout

This beautiful Winnipesaukee based boat was unfortunately struck by two white pines that crushed her shed during the winter, she came in for a full structural rebuild: new keel sections, all new frames and about half the planking replaced. Fully refastened with copper rivets. New sections of deck and covering boards and comings. Newly rebuilt Chris Craft Hercules motor installed. Now back with the owner for cosmetics and systems and launching soon!

Marine Railway reconstruction in Stoney Creek, CT

Full replacement of rails and ties to serve the fishing boats at Bradley Wharf for the next generation. We also perform ongoing work on the two pictured local boats that fish the area out of Bradley Wharf.

Full restoration of Kelsey Skiff

There are a few local boats of this type that we do annual maintenance on. We love these locally built utility type boats. They are tough and can come back from a lot of abuse. This one received several repairs to the hull and shined right up with a full cosmetic restoration.

This fine yacht came in needing a few areas of repair to her mahogany strip planking and sheathing. She also received many mechanical upgrades and cosmetic refinishing, including refinishing spars and replacing spreaders.
